Sit rep: It started with some ‘groom’s perspective’ photos for a friend 2 years ago in sunny Devon. Then another friend. Then some other friends. Then the brother of the first wedding.
To say that the bookings have been flying through the letterbox would be a mistruth, but word-of-mouth marketing certainly can’t be underestimated. However marketing for wedding photography is a whole new kettle of fish, with a plethora of options available – weddings fairs, specialist local periodicals, liaising with wedding planners, SEO & website development, social media; the list goes on.
Question – How did you find your wedding photographer, or where would you look for one?
